2017/05/20 – Ran a robot perception exhibit and live demo to over 10,000 museum visitors for the 2017 Military Invention Day at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington D.C.

2017/03/05 – Our perception paper SegICP: Integrated Deep Semantic Segmentation and Pose Estimation has been released as a preprint.

2017/03/02 – Attended and talked about our Mobile Manipulation work at the International Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems – Autonomous Vehicle Summit sponsored by Draper.

2017/02/10 – Attended and presented a poster at MIT’s Robotics Conference, RoboCon 2017 on the work we’ve been doing at Draper with our collaborators at MIT and Harvard.

2016/05/18 – Our paper entitled “Self-Supervised Deep Visuomotor Learning from Motor Unit Feedback.” has been selected for publication in the Are the Skeptics Right?  Limits and Potentials of Deep Learning in Robotics Workshop at Robotics: Science and Systems Conference (RSS-WS)! The workshop will be held on June 18, 2016 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.

2016/05/03 – I’m pleased to announce that I have officially accepted a Robotics Scientist position at Draper Laboratory located in Cambridge. We will be working on some cool stuff in collaboration with researchers from MIT and Harvard University!

2014/05/31 – I have successfully flown into Virginia; I will be staying at Bridgewater on the Lake. I am excited to be affiliated with NASA LaRC and to be working on an exciting project for the next ten weeks.

2014/05/09 – I am honored to be named alumni of the University of Massachusetts Amherst graduating with Magna cum laude in Computer Science and Mathematics under the College of Natural Sciences at the Undergraduate Commencement of 2014. I am even more pleased that I was about to hold the sign for the college as we walked out to the ceremony.
